¿Lo sientes?
Este sentimiento que no he sentido antes
Qué romántico, aunque trágico, qué es
Mi corazón está dolorido con el deseo
De verte otra vez

Finjo que las luces de la ciudad
Son las estrellas que titilan sobre la isla donde tú estás
Me imagino que estoy ahí contigo
Y estamos jugando en el agua, nuestros besos salados y mojados 
Que estamos tomados de la mano en las calles adoquinadas
Viendo el atardecer pinta el cielo

La música sonaba mejor contigo
El sol y la luna brillaban con más intensidad 

Esas noches mágicas
Cuando nos conocimos mejor 
Y nuestros cuerpos hicieron lo mismo 
La mezcla de placer y dolor 
Como lo ansío 

Nuestros ojos no se separaron
Y nuestros labios se encontraron sin intentando, como imanes 
Una conexión intensa
Cuando se siente mareado después todos los besos
Y ninguna cantidad de cercanía siente suficiente  

Sé que nuestra piel se tocará otra vez 
Hasta ese momento, pensaré en ti antes de dormir 
Debajo de las sábanas mi cuerpo te anhela
Y si cierro mis ojos, casi puedo sentir tu tacto
Tus dedos me rasguean despacio como una guitarra 
Y me quedo dormida con la canción

The Desire

Do you feel it? 
This feeling that I haven’t felt before
How romantic, yet tragic, it is
My heart is sore with the desire
To see you again

I pretend that the city lights
Are the stars twinkling above the island where you are
I imagine that I’m there with you
Playing in the water, our kisses salty and wet
Holding hands in the cobblestoned streets
Watching the sunset paint the sky

Music sounded better with you
The sun and the moon shone brighter

Those magical nights
Where we got to know each other better
And our bodies did the same
The mixture of pleasure and pain
How I crave it

Our eyes didn’t leave each other
And our lips found each other without trying, like magnets
An intense connection
One where you feel dizzy after all of the kisses
And no amount of closeness feels like enough

I know that our skin will touch again
Until then, I’ll think of you before I sleep
Under the sheets, my body yearns for you
And if I close my eyes, I can almost feel your touch
Your fingers strum me slowly like a guitar
And I fall asleep to the song
